MG Law is delighted to announce that three of our lawyers are now proud members of The American Association for Justice (AAJ).
Miryam Gorelashvili, Kyle Nayman and Allison Lubeck have now enrolled with the organization. This nonprofit aims to “promote a fair and effective justice system” for all.
Who is The American Association for Justice (AAJ)?
Ultimately, The American Association for Justice’s mission is to support lawyers. They ensure that anybody who is injured through misconduct or negligence can obtain justice.
Formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) until 2006, its roots can be traced back to 1946.
It was in Portland, Oregon where nine plaintiffs’ attorneys originally planned the organization. Here, they constructed a strategy for a national body to combat new threats facing trial lawyers nationwide.
Their original founding as the National Association of Claimants’ Compensation Attorneys (NACCA) paved the way for the current organization to thrive.
How does our AAJ membership benefit our clients?
In short, membership with The American Association for Justice empowers our lawyers to represent our clients the most effective way possible.
Miryam, Kyle and Allison now have access to a vibrant community of practitioners who consistently share knowledge, insight and experience.
The American Association for Justice offers a wide range of Continuing Legal Education programs. Therefore, our lawyers can learn about innovative techniques, tips and strategies to better represent you, our valued clients.
From February 8-11, 2020, Allison Lubeck will be attending the 2020 AAJ Winter Convention at Hilton New Orleans Riverside in Louisiana. She will be attending to explore new areas of law such as railroad and aviation litigation.
