Egor Evsikov, C.D., M.A., J.D.

Associate, Personal Injury Lawyer

I am a former Military Intelligence Analyst who served fourteen years with the Canadian Armed Forces before my career in law. Previously working with several Canadian and NATO headquarters, this included Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, and Allied Joint Force Command Naples. I was also an Instructor at the Canadian Forces School of Military Intelligence.

Completing my University of Ottawa legal studies in 2021, my practice is primarily focused on assisting victims of motor vehicle accidents as well as slip, trip, and fall accidents. My military experiences allowed me to develop analytical and problem-solving skills well suited to helping my clients navigate Canada’s justice system.

As a military veteran, many of my comrades suffered physical / mental combat and training-related injuries. I feel passionate about assisting injured clients and helping them in their fight to rehabilitate and get the compensation they deserve. I take pride in fighting for my clients’ rights with the same dedication I used to serve my country in the military.

My academic background and articling experience has given me a solid understanding of legal research, trial advocacy, and all aspects of civil litigation. In addition to English, I am also fluent in Russian. Elsewhere, I am a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), the County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA), and the Canadian Military Intelligence Association (CMIA).

Important steps to take when injured

It’s important to remember that injuries can take some time to present themselves. If you’ve been in a bad accident, it’s important to take these steps regardless of how you feel, as it may take a few days or weeks for the full extent of your injuries to become apparent.

1.
Call the police and report your accident

Police reports are a valuable part of any court proceeding, so ensuring that the police have all the information you have available will reflect positively on your case.
